In the time since my last post I've:

1) Change jobs 3 times
2) Been divorced
3) Made some interesting new friends
4) Dave has been married
5) Dealt with some significant static in my childrens' lives
6) Watched my son and stepdaughter graduate high school
7) Watched my daughter get 3 tattoos and a GED
8) Learned that working for gigantic corporations eventually starts tarnishing your soul
9) Learned how to play drums
10) Lost my mom, dad, and grandmother to cancer, lung disease, and old disgruntled age

That's the short list.  Been some ugly shit in the middle of all that, some good stuff, and a whole lotta change.
